Job Title: Senior Sustainability Consultant
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 depending on experience + attractive benefits package

Our clients skilled interdisciplinary team offers a comprehensive range of construction consultancy services across a wide range of sectors: housing, education, health, care, blue light, commercial, and regeneration and mixed use.  Based across 2 office in London and Birmingham, they have just under 200 employees and last year they were awarded 2 star accreditation in recognition of their outstanding employee engagement.

They are now seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join the team.

Job Responsibilities

 BREEAM (preferably commercial) Assessor with responsibility for project management and
delivery of BREEAM ‘information required’ schedules, report writing and certification
 Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor
 SAP and SBEM assessor
 Energy modelling using appropriate software (IES and/or Hevacomp)
 Production of appropriate retro fit strategies
 Prepare/approve final results and issue for inclusion in the Energy Strategy
 Energy surveys on existing buildings
 Client liaison and meeting attendance
 Provide technical and practical advice to project design team members
 Project management
 Assist the team in any business development as required.

Working Practices
 When required lead multi skill teams internally on single large projects or multiple smaller
projects.
 Provide project support in relevant skill to other as part of a multi skilled team.
 Be responsible for other members of staff, co-ordinating their workload and ensuring their
tasks and duties are carried out in accordance with Practice procedures.
 Attend and actively contribute to design reviews and planning meetings

Personal Specification (knowledge, skills, experience)
 Educated to degree level in a suitable scientific or engineering discipline
 BREEAM qualified in retail, bespoke, offices and education. Any other qualification in
BREEAM will be welcomed
 Code for Sustainable Homes assessor
 SAP and SBEM assessor
 Familiar with IES and/or Hevacomp
 Member of CIBSE/IEMA/EI or working towards membership
