You will have an opportunity to become an important part of an evolving measured survey and spatial data consultancy. They provide Land Surveys, Engineering Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, Digital Twins, UAV Surveys and Measured Building Surveys and much more to a wide variety of clients across the UK and beyond.
They have a fantastic team of surveyors and technicians (yes, they really act as a team! – working together and willfully helping each other building a strong and friendly company-wide culture) who have a wide range of survey skills. They are looking to expand this team and provide an exciting and rewarding opportunity for experienced Geomatics Surveyors/Land Surveyors/Engineering Surveyors.

Desired Skills and Experience
All applicants will be considered, but the below items will be an advantage:
As a setting out engineer you will be responsible for getting a construction site ready for development. This can include working with detailed site plans and levelling the ground ready for work to begin.
The job role of a setting out engineer involves the following duties:
· Setting out, levelling, and surveying a construction site
· Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
· Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
· Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
· Overseeing quality control
· Monitoring health and safety
· Keeping a site diary
· Resolving technical problems
· Working in an office and on a construction site.

The salary for this role is £25,000 to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience with excellent benefit programmes available.

This role is commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Corby.
