Our clients are now seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Rail and Civils team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Civil/Structural Consultancy offering good scope for progression.They are looking for an Engineer with a positive and practical approach to engineering to provide new ideas and enhance their technical capability.

Their portfolio of work includes railway depots and stations; the Forth Road Bridge; the River Clyde Tidal Weir; various bridges; wind farms and infrastructure projects. The role requires someone who can apply their existing skills and experiences in potentially new areas and work with a senior engineering taking ownership of their own projects.

Responsibilities:

·Take ownership and pride in the work being delivered

·Bring original thought and challenge to engineering problems

·Liaison with Clients and stakeholders and other relevant third parties

·Active project participation providing support and contribution to senior engineers

Qualifications / Experience:

·Strong degree in Civil Engineering

·Excellent communication skills, particularly in technical written English

·Ability to take initiative and manage workload and deadlines

Salary: £22,000 – £28,000 depending on experience

This position is commutable from Edinburgh, Kilmarnock and Stirling
