CDM Health and Safety Advisor

Our clients are an independent engineering and surveying consultancy.Established in 1985 they are a reputable company with offices in Leicester and Northampton, as well as a satellite office in London.

They offer civil and structural engineering expertise, ground investigation, health and safety services and building surveying as well as their other specialised services and consulting support.

They are now seeking a CDM/Health and Safety Advisor in their Leicester Office.

The Role:

·Provide advice and assist clients to fulfil their CDM duties
·Prepare and submit F10 notifications
·Liaise with design teams to identify key hazards
·Identify and collate pre-construction information
·Liaise with construction teams to ensure that there is an ongoing exchange of health & safety information
·Prepare health & safety files
·Assess and prepare construction phase health & safety plans
·Undertake site health & safety inspections
·Prepare method statements and risk assessments

Attributes and Key Skills:

·Ideally have a NEBOSH construction certificate
·Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Be highly motivated and determined to succeed
·Have experience in managing your own workload
·Represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors
·Be a positive team member
·Hold a full driving licence and have your own transport

The salary for this role is £30,000 to £35,000 per annum dependant on experience with excellent benefit programmes available.

This role is commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Corby.
