Snr/Int Electrical Design Engineer

Our clients have grown to become a leading Building Services Consultancy. They offer our clients a complete mechanical and electrical design for residential and commercial developments throughout the UK.

They are currently looking to recruit an Senior/Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team, based in Northfleet.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm. This position is permanent and offers a competitive salary (DOE) and a discretionary bonus.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is fully conversant with Autocad to work on some of our ground breaking new developments. The successful candidate will provide design and project management support to the electrical team, by performing daily duties on large scale and multiple residential projects. Playing a vital role from pre-planning right through to design handover, you will be liaising with the client, design team, architects and contractors.

As an Electrical Engineer you will support the team by completing all calculations, through the use of Dialux and or Relux for lighting calculations and Amtec for cable sizing and network analysis calculations.

Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be a professional, ambitious, competent and enthusiastic Building Services Design Engineer looking for a fast paced and progressive role.

The Company is very keen on the training and development of their employees, meaning opportunities for advancement are excellent for engineers that are able to demonstrate ability to effectively manage workload, design and deliver projects within the timescales required.

Previous design experience and working in the Building Services Industry is essential, along with working knowledge of the above software packages to complete accurate engineering calculations. Ideally you will have current membership to a national body such as CIBSE, IET or similar.

Salary – £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
