Senior Structural Engineer

They are now seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with solid technical knowledge with willingness to learn, having ambition to be part of a growing office in the Southwest. With the ability to take work on and direct other engineers and technicians.

Directly responsible to: Principal Engineer or Technical Director

Typical Software: Tekla Structural Design, Tedds, Masterseries, AutoCAD, Revit

Typically 5 to 6 years post degree experience, and nearing professionally qualified or have obtained incorporated or equivalent professional institution status. Demonstrate good development of knowledge in structural engineering. Have awareness of construction contracts and terms of appointment. Have initial experience of supervision of technicians and new graduates. Have awareness of business development activities and to be responsible for the preparation, issue and management of technical project information, including calculations and drawing information, in accordance with the standard requirements. To have limited responsibility for technical, financial and managerial aspects of complete projects as directed by your line manager. To maintain high standards of information presentation and to ensure their accuracy.

The salary for this role is £35,000 to £42,000 per annum dependant on experience with excellent benefit programmes available.

This role is commutable from Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Tavistock.
