Our client is a leading privately-owned multi-award-winning Energy Consultancy and Building Services Design Consultancy with offices in Reading, London, Bristol and Tonbridge. Set up in 2008 to provide energy consultancy and low carbon building design solution services in response to the European Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), our client offered a combined solution in Energy Compliance, Sustainable Building Design, Energy efficiency products and energy procurement solutions. Job Role: Project Administrator

Role Location

Full time presence at our Reading office.

Key Responsibilities

·Drafting and issuing client proposals

·Responding to customer enquiries and liaison

·Assist in the preparation of supplier reports, including Quality Assurance and reviews

·Assist with supplier co-ordination and support

·Raising purchase orders via our accounting system for suppliers

·Sending out payment confirmations of client invoices to department heads when the Business Manager requires

·Communicate to Management any changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs

·Report and escalate issues to Management as needed

·Answering and directing incoming calls from prospective and existing clients

·Assisting with Salesforce data entry and creation of project files and folders

·Report directly to the Business Manager

·Additional tasks that may reasonably be required from time to time by the Business Manager

·If Reading-based you will be trained as a fire marshal and first aider

Key Skills and Experience


·Prior administrative experience of 1-5 years

·Proficient with Office 365 (Outlook/Word/Excel etc)

·Excellent communication skills

·Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced work environment


·Experience in an energy or engineering based consultancy/company

·Familiar with the core services in the business

·Knowledge of Xero or a similar financial administrative system

Annual salary £20,000-£23,000 pending experience
