Principle Town Planner
Our clients were founded in 1997 in the South Coast and has since established itself as a successful, award-winning town planning consultancy on the South Coast. With a strong belief in building strong client relationships and securing repeat business through effective results, our clients have gained a reputation for working on a wide range of large-scale schemes as well as smaller projects.
Owing to the wealth of private and public sector experience held by their Town Planners, they work on a wide variety of schemes including in the residential, commercial, industrial and hospitality sectors.
The successful candidate is required to be RTPI accredited and will have at least 5 years post-graduate planning experience, preferably in a consultancy environment.
·Overseeing all Planning work and working on all aspects of projects.
·Project Management and delivery of EIAs, Planning Statements, DASs, etc.
·Offering in-depth planning advice and consultation.
·Stakeholder Engagement and Management.
·Communicating within the team and with clients directly.
·Co-ordinating in-house consultants and liaising with clients.
·Delivering projects within a set timeframe.
·Tender and Fee Proposal production.
The successful candidate will be required to produce reports for clients and so attention to detail, reliability, and good organisational skills are essential.
·Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery and management of projects.
·Excellent working knowledge of the English Planning system.
·Ability to project manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
·Tendering and fee production experience.
·Full driving license
·A Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Required
·Strong track record in the production of tenders
·Solar farm and/or wind energy experience
The salary for this role is £35,000 to £50,000 per annum dependant on experience with excellent benefit programmes available.
This role is commutable from Portsmouth, Winchester and Bournemouth.
