Our Clients seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team based in Essex as a geologist/geotechnical engineer.
Their role and responsibilities will include trail pitting, site supervision of cable percussive, rotary & window sampling drilling rigs (all in house) logging of soils & rock samples, together with factual reporting. They will also be responsible for short & long term monitoring of slopes, gas and ground water regimes on our infrastructural projects, together with the database management.
It is expected that the right candidate would have a relevant degree and a minimum of 18 months relevant field and office experience. A full clean driving license will be required and you are available to work away from home for short and long periods of time. Full technical and health & safety training will be provided were necessary.
A competitive remuneration package is available, the details of which will be negotiable and subject to age and experience.
Salary for this role is £23,000 to £28,000 per annum dependant on experience with excellent benefit programmes available.
This role is commutable from London, Southend-on-sea and Maidstone.
